We’ve done most of our shopping online for years. This year more than ever, we’re doing our best to shop from home. The only concern is porch pirates. Delivery people don’t usually knock or ring the bell, so sometimes my packages sit out all day — even when I’m home.
I have nothing but love for delivery people this time of year. They make Christmas possible. So I thought I’d try just asking nicely for a heads-up when a package arrives. For the last two years I’ve put a sign on the front door kindly asking them to ring the bell. IT WORKS! (after all, they’re good people) They ring almost every time. I hung my sign today and the bell rang ten minutes later.
So I thought I’d share a few signs with you. Just click on the link above each sign to be taken to the download page. They’re formatted to 8.5×11″ for your home printer. I hope they’re as successful at your house as they’ve been at mine.
